Yes, I have said this before, but it’s worth restating. Readers like surprises at the end of their stories. Do you remember the line from of Sixth Sense? “I see dead people.” Do you remember the ending of Gone Girl? The Prestige? The Others? Try to end you flash fiction with a twist.
